Mufti of Crimean Muslims Greets Ukraine’s Christians on Occasion of 1020th Anniversary of Baptism

30.07.2008, [18:06] // Muslims // - Simferopol- Adzhi Emirali Ablayev, the Mufti of the Crimean Muslims, "on behalf of the Crimean Muslims" personally greeted "the great people of independent Ukraine for the occasion of the 1020th anniversary of the baptism of Kyivan Rus." In his address, he stressed that "indestructible bonds of brotherhood and friendship have bound the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar peoples for centuries."
According to the press service of the State Committee on Matters of Nationalities and Religions, the Mufti also wished "the glorious nation of Ukraine a bright future, prosperity, and wellbeing."
