A Muslim candidate in election 2008, under Joint elections shot dead a Christian Javed Masih on not casting vote in his favor and he is still free and mocking Pakistani justice.
Okara: August 8, 2008. Zeenat Javed, the widow of Javed Masih filed several petitions with high government officials to arrest killer of her husband but
Mahar Abdul Sattar is walking free and mocking justice system of Muslim dominated Pakistan where Muslim is above the law when he kills any Christian man, forcibly converts and marry Christian woman or gang rapes Christian teenage Christian girl
Mohammad Abdul Sattar was candidate for Punjab Assembly seat from Okara district and approaches to Christians from Chack number 10/4-L to vote for him. He threatens Christians that if that shall not vote for him he will teach a lesson.
The Christian leaders and organizations working for Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Group assure safety of Christians and compelled them to vote for Muslim candidates of their parties.
These Christians campaigned for Joint Election System for Christians where Christians have to vote for Muslims and Muslim elected members to select Christians in Parliament.
After elections these Christians leaders get selection from PPP and PML Nawaz group in parliament but never turned up to villages and remote ears where Muslim Candidates failed to successful were harassing and killing Christians.
The killing incident is one surfaced up after months when widow of Javed Masih is tired up on requesting and appealing for justice to selected Christian parliamentarians and Muslim administration.
According to Christian Youth Fellowship-Pakistan CYF "Abdul Sattar come to Christian Village on April 10, 2008, with his gang and opened fire on Christians who not voted him in Joint Election System. Javed Masih died on spot by firing while Irshad Masih was seriously injured"
Muhammad Sharif, an accomplice of Abdul Sattar along with others have been threatening the Christian community to demolish Chak No. 10/4-L Antonia bad (Village) like Shantinagar which have spread wave of fear among Christians, sources told PCP
The Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) and elders of various villages took decision to hold the post-mortem examination. The FIR No, 70/2008,of this murder case has registered against the killers in Police Station Cantt. District Okara.
Mr Shabaz Anwar Bhatti, Chairman of C.Y.F and some members of Christian community met Distt. Police officer (DPO) Okara and appealed him to arrest the offenders immediately but killers are still at large.
Widow of Javed Masih have question for Christian selected members of PPP and PML (N) who are in government that Why killers of my husband are still free? Where is fruit of Joint Election System? My husband is killed and killed and you are enjoying government, cries Zenat Bibi.
