Ukrainian Military Make Pilgrimage to Lourdes

LVIV-On 25 May, 2009, the 51st International Military Pilgrimage to Lourdes, France was completed. Military from many countries come to Lourdes each year to pray for peace in the world. This year the Ukrainian delegation consisted of 32 participants.
According to Zaxid.net, the Ukrainian delegation was composed of representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, cadets of military institutes of Lviv, Sebastopol, and Kharkiv, and Bishop Mykhail Koltun, the head of the Department on Pastoral Care for Power Structures of Ukraine of the Patriarchate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
