Just like the previous round, these concerts will be charitable in nature and the music will unite, support and inspire. From September 7 to 22, the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church invites everyone to attend the "With faith and love" concerts. The academic concerts organized in May, under the same name, were a great success. The concerts were a part of a cultural mission and conveyed a more contemporary message by the UGCC. Our times are characterized by a crisis of hope and the constant revision of eternal values. We are bombarded by a wide variety of contradictory messages that induce a restlessness in us. Music, harmony and academic culture in general was, until recently, one of the mainstays of the catacomb Church. The Church provided people with a place to go in search of comfort and pleasure.

"During the preliminary discussions for this project, I began to understand that we could give people more than simply a spectacle... It can be said that the success of these concerts depends on how deeply we reach into our pockets. But the truth is that it really depends on how much we open our hearts to perceive beauty, perceive the spiritual value that is found within beauty ... that we become better people as a result of this perception and understanding," explained His Beatitude Lubomyr (Husar). The round of concerts is a bridge between Ukrainian and European musical cultures as well as one between contemporary and classic Ukrainian culture. It is also a resistance to offensive popular culture. Most importantly, it is an effort to bring together Ukrainians of different confessions.

Naturally, this type of project is gaining wider recognition. Thus, the second round of concerts "With faith and love" will take place in 13 cities and townships of Ukraine. Six regions will be visited: Volyn', Rivne, Tchernivtsi, Ternopil', Ivano-Frankivs'k and Lviv. The concerts include many popular music acts, including: Taras Petrynenko and Tetyana Horobets', vocal ensemble Pikardiys'ka tertsiya, leader of Mandry Foma, as well as S.K.A.Y, Hudimov, Gorgisheli, Trance-former, Natalia and Daryna (Mamay) Sums'ka, Ihor Miroshnychenko. The executive-producer is Serhiy Arkhypchuk. Head of the UGCC His Beatitude Lubomyr will greet all concert-goers with an opening word.

The academic music concerts raised over 800,000 Hryvnyas. The revenue from these concerts will go towards the completion of the Patriarchal cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Kyiv. Therefore, prominent Ukrainians, numerous popular Ukrainian musicians and audience-participants will come together to support of Ukrainian spirituality and the UGCC. With faith and love, let's support each other!
