Holy Land: Caritas opens new health centre on West Bank

Caritas Jerusalem has opened a new health centre in Aboud on the West Bank. The new centre officially opened on 23 July.
The centre offers quality service in many different fields of primary health care, preventative medicine including vaccinations and laboratory services.
Due to the on going travel restrictions and checkpoints, the community of Aboud and about 26 surrounding villages are happy to have this quality of services on their doorstep. Up til now the closest clinic available was some distance away in Ramallah.
The new center is open six days a week and has been serving an average of 40 patients per day.
Special services include Urology, Dermatology, and Gynaecology. There is also a dental clinic. The health centre is equipped with an emergency delivery room. Since 23 July, five emergency cases have been treated there.
