One in five Ukrainians would like to live life differently

Almost one in five Ukrainians (17%) would have lived life differently if it were possible to start life again, according to a survey conducted by the sociological group Rating on October 4-11, 2010, the Kyiv Post reports.
The group said in a press release that most of those people who wish to live their life differently reside in Ukraine's northern regions and are aged 40-49.
Only 25% of respondents said that they would have lived their life the way they did before. Such people live mostly in the country's western and eastern regions, and among them are young and elderly respondents.
Almost half of respondents (48%) said that they would have changed something in their "new life." Most of them live in the northern regions and they are mostly aged 50-59.
Some 10% of those polled were undecided.
The study showed that the higher income people have, the less likely they would change anything in their "new life."
Similar trends are observed regarding the level of education. For example, among respondents with higher education, a third (31%) would have lived their life the way they did before, and among respondents with secondary education, their number is less than a quarter (21%).
A total of 2,000 respondents aged 18 years and older were interviewed one-on-one.
